Diella Valla | Painter

Described by thenewfeminist’s publication as an up-and-coming feminist artist who empowers women with her art, Diella Valla is well on her way to the beginning of a stellar career. Initially inspired by her grandfather’s paintings and early doodling on her own, she picked up a passion and fascination for art and fashion.

| MINDSET

Diella has a specific vision of what she wants her art to look and feel like, she told us, “I believe that art is an expression of emotions, and it can be seen in a variety of perspectives by the public. I want my art to give the same message related to the topic I touch in my paintings or fashion illustrations. People feel what they observe, and that’s what art is all about.”

Much like her interest in art, Diella’s love for fashion also developed at a young age, and often these talents crossover in her fashion sketchbooks. On this artistic connection, she explains, “Fashion is something that speaks to me, and I am able to visualize and express this well through my art.

| MISSION

As an art-loving feminist, Diella uses her art to convey impactful messages to her viewers, and inspiration for her paintings comes from real situations, emotions, touching stories, and injustice. In her words, “I consider art as a way of fighting for rights and believing again in a healthy society.” In the same vein, most of her paintings and illustrations touch the topic of women’s rights, including her empowering nude paintings.

Aged at only 19, Diella’s on the cusp of achieving her dreams. She has just started her program at the Academy of Arts, where she’ll be taking classes and workshops to learn more about arts and fashion.
