Lavinia | Model

Lavinia is a petite model who focuses her energy on promoting sustainability in fashion, as she chooses to only work with fair brands that produce ethical products. She’s always had a love for acting and dancing, which she sees as the fundamental parts of modeling.  But it wasn't until 2019 that her uncle led her to discover her passion for set design, posing and photography. She’s since shown her ability to work in commercial modeling, haute couture, and occasionally, slow fashion. And although she’s now able to make money through modeling, Lavinia still enjoys collaborating on free projects, which give her the opportunity to expand her creative experiences. Lately, she’s been simultaneously polishing up on her photography skills and studying social work. Her main job is working for a social government department that allows her to help people who are experiencing precarious life circumstances or homelessness and offer them places to sleep.

When it came to advice, Lavinia shared with us her two most memorable pieces of guidance: “Never be afraid to make a fool of yourself when you’re in front of the camera! Just go ape and have fun!” and “You can never, NEVER be sure about another person's perspective, because your reality is not theirs.”
