Derryl Aroko | Model & Stylist 

Derryl Aroko is the embodiment of art and creativity. In 2018, he formally began his career as a model and stylist with a close group of friends whom he often describes as “great pieces of art” and whose style has continuously inspired him and his craft over the years.

Derryl still fondly remembers the first incident that convinced him to start modeling and styling. He describes the event as purely coincidental “my friends and I were casually walking on the streets when unexpectedly we attracted about four photographers who were fascinated with our style and wanted a picture.” This experience, combined with his love for art and fashion, was instrumental in launching his career.

As a stylist, Derryl’s philosophy relies upon taking the initiative and thinking outside the box in order to bring out the beauty in life that others do not easily take note of. As a result, he sees art all around him – in nature, humans, and everything in-between.

| MOTIVATION

In his passion-filled journey of doing what he loves, one of the biggest lessons he has learned is to practice patience. This has aided him in developing his strongest motivators, which are consistent progress and being able to take care of his loving parents. To aspiring creators, Derryl loves to spread the message that “no dream is too big for a dreamer who is not too small.”
